    The Kudremukh Trek is a popular trekking destination located in the Kudremukh National Park, Chikmagalur district, Karnataka. This trek is known for its breathtaking landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and the spectacular views of the surrounding Western Ghats.

    The trek to Kudremukh offers multiple trails of varying difficulty levels, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers. The main trail leads to the Kudremukh Peak, which stands at an elevation of 1,894 meters (6,214 feet) above sea level. The trek involves a moderate to challenging ascent, with sections of steep inclines and rocky terrain.

    One of the highlights of the Kudremukh Trek is the stunning natural beauty that surrounds the trekking trails. Trekkers can experience the lush greenery of the Western Ghats, dense forests, cascading waterfalls, and panoramic views of the valleys below. The national park is also home to a variety of wildlife species, including deer, wild boars, langurs, and a rich avian population.

    Best Time to Visit
    The best time to undertake the Kudremukh Trek is during the post-monsoon and winter seasons, from September to February. During this time, the weather is pleasant, and the trails are at their most scenic with lush vegetation and clear skies.

    Note: Kudremukha Trek permits are limited to 300 Trekkers by Kudremukha Forest Department. So, if we did not get permits, we might have alternative treks or change the itenary based on the availability.

    Itinerary

    Day 0 – Overnight Journey to Kudremukh
    • 7 :30 PM -Karachi Bakery – Indiranagar.
    • 7:45 PM -Domlur Sky Walk - Domlur .
    • 9:00 PM-Yeshwantpur metro station towards Tumkur.
    • 9:15 PM -People Tree Hospitals-Gorguntepalya
    Day 1 – Begin the Kudremukh Trek
    • 6:00 AM: Arrive at the Campsite
    • 7:00 AM: Have Breakfast
    • 7:30 AM: Pack your lunch in your respective lunch boxes
    • 8:00 AM: Board a jeep from the Forest Office in Mullodi to begin the picturesque Kuduremukha Trek. The trek starts with a gentle climb from the Forest Office to Ontimara (Lone tree). After Ontimara, the path becomes steeper. Enjoy a scenic ridge walk.
    • 1:00 PM: Enjoy the healthy packed lunch at the peak
    • 1:30 PM: Begin the descent
    • 5:30 PM: Reach the base Forest office, Mullodi
    • 6:00 PM: Reach the campsite via a Jeep ride from the Forest Office
    • 7:00 PM: Enjoy lip smacking snacks & Bhajias with hot coffee at the homestay
    • 8.30 PM: Campfire(If weather permits) , team building activities, dinner under the stars and close for the day
    Day 2 - Day of Divinity and Serenity
    • 7:00 AM: Wake up and get ready for the day
    • 8:00 AM: Have breakfast
    • 9:00 AM: Check out from the homestay and get on our bus.
    • 9:30 AM: Visit the beautiful Samse Tea Estate
    • 1:30 PM: Explore the historic Belur Temple
    • 2:00 PM: Have lunch (Self Sponsored)
    • 6:00 PM: Take a coffee break (Self Sponsored)
    • 10:00 PM: Arrive in Bangalore

    Cancellation Policy

    • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get canceled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
