    Overview

    Coorg, a scenic hill station in Karnataka, is celebrated for its sprawling coffee and tea estates. Known as ‘The Scotland of India,’

    The hill station is renowned not just for its tranquil landscapes adorned with cascading waterfalls and streams, but also for the rich cultural heritage of the Kodava community, known for their expertise in martial arts.

    This trip includes Mandalpatti Peak which is ranked amongst the top tourist places to visit in Coorg, and Abbey Falls which is nestled amidst private coffee plantations, adorned with robust coffee bushes, spice estates, and trees interlaced with pepper vines.

    You will have a lot of memorable moments at Dubare Elephant Camp which is one of the major elephant camps among the others in Karnataka, the thrilling view of elephants playing and showering in water is such a feast for your eyes. We will be exploring Chicklihole Dam and Raja's seat as well.

    Itinerary

    Day 0 - Night journey to Coorg!
    ​ * Travel overnight from Banglore to Coorg. ​

    Day 1 -Explore Coorg!
    ​ * Arrive at the homestay and enjoy the greenery around.
    * Freshen up, and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
    * Drive to visit Mandalpatti Peak. This will be a Jeep ride(around 2.5k) and is shared among the groups(6 in a Jeep).
    * Enjoy the views over hills, wildflowers & swirling clouds from a peak.
    * Have lunch (self sponsored)
    * Head towards Abbey Falls.
    * Have packed food enjoying the view.
    * Head to Raja's Seat Peak and spend some time there.
    * After that head to Kote Abbey Falls and enjoy the chilling water.
    * Reach back to homestay and start the chilling evening.
    * If weather permits, we will light a bonfire.
    * Engage in socializing and group activities.
    * End the day with dinner a well-deserved rest and a fulfilling sleep.

    Day 2 - Travel back home with more explorations!
    ​ * Wake up, freshen up, enjoy breakfast enjoy a small walk at Tea Estate.
    * Pack your bags, and get ready to leave for an adventurous way back.
    * Head towards Dubare Elephant Camp, and spend an amazing time at Dubare Rafting.
    * After Dubare head to Chiklihole Reservoir and enjoy the mesmerizing site with water flowing down a large reservoir and the river in the backdrop.
    * Have Lunch at a local restaurant.
    * Visit the Golden Temple and spend time exploring the temple.
    * Reach back to Banglore at dinner time.

    What's Included

    Transportation: Travel by Non-AC Tempo or Mini Bus.

    Accommodation: Homestay with separate dormitories for men and women.

    Meals Provided: 2 breakfasts, 1 dinner(Veg and Non-veg), 1 evening snack (all vegetarian).

    Included Services: ​​​ Entry tickets to the viewpoints/lake.

    Q: What is the best time to visit Coorg?
    A: The best time to visit Coorg is during monsoon and post monsoon till February, with each season giving its unique and exquisite experience. Q: Is it safe and enjoyable for solo traveler?
    A: It is absolutely safe for solo traveler, our trained trip/trek coordinator are experienced and sensible enough to make sure the decorum is maintained throughout the trip making it a comfortable , fun filled and safe travel experience.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations made by participants:
    Cancellations or postponements can be made up to 48 hours or more before the trip's commencement. An 80% refund will be provided if we are notified at least 48 hours of trip's start time.
    Trip replacement or postponement to another date can be done only once per booking.

    You can replace yourself with your friend or any other, in case you cannot make it, so that you can transfer the booking, and not lose the money. Full amount can be used for any other trip of any weekend. The difference amount will be adjusted from you or paid back according to the new trip cost.
    No refund if cancellation done within 48 hours of commencement of the trip.

    Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, booking shortages):
    Full refund or allowed to book different trips of same weekend or future ones.
    Refunds are processed within 2 days of cancellation and the amount will be reflected in your bank account within 2 days of cancellation.
