Experience a thrilling Jeep ride to Mullayannagiri, Karnataka's highest peak, and a refreshing plunge into Buttermilk Waterfalls also called Bennekallu or Jhari Falls.
Chikmagalur, a quaint town, rose to prominence due to the flourishing coffee trade. The Baba Budan Giri Coffee plantation is renowned for its export-quality coffee and holds the distinction of being India's oldest plantation area.
Upon arrival at our stay, we'll embark on a journey to Mullayannagiri Peak, standing tall at 1930 meters. At its summit, a temple provides panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, kissed by cool winds. Discover the Buttermilk Waterfalls, where Water from the mountains cascades over steep rocks, forming a broad, thin, white layer.
The following day, we'll visit the Princess Statue of Chikmagalur town for coffee tasting and shopping, and admire the serene beauty of Hirekolale Lake, through rugged trails amidst coffee estates.

Itinerary
Day 0 - Night journey to Chikmagalur *Travel overnight from Banglore to Chikmagalur.
Day 1 - Explore Chikmagalur
* Arrive at the homestay
* Freshen up, and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
* Proceed to the base of Mullayanagiri, Karnataka's highest peak. Local vehicles will take you to the hilltop(the path will be ticky and dancy).
* After reaching the top(including 100 stair climbing) you will stay there enjoying the view and some Vitamin D from the sun and refreshing breeze.
* After the wonderful time on top, travel back to the base in Jeep and have lunch on the way.
* Next, head to Buttermilk Waterfalls and play, jump, or dance and click a lot of pictures and memories to take back with you.
* Access to the falls from the parking area can be by hiking or by local transport such as jeep or bike, whichever is available.
* After enjoying stunning views of the Bababudangiri range, known for its deep valleys often shrouded in mist and clouds, we can take a stop for some coffee shopping as Chikmagalur is famous for this.
* We will return to the homestay for an eventful evening, tasty snacks, and a bonfire(If weather permits).
* Engage in socializing and group activities.
* End the day with dinner a well-deserved rest and a fulfilling sleep.
Day 2 - Travel back home with more explorations!
* Wake up, freshen up, and hike to Butterstone Hills locally known as Benne kallu Gudda.
* Hike back to the homestay, enjoy breakfast pack your bags, and sway onto some fresh air while you take a walk at coffee estate.
* Get ready to leave for an adventurous way back.
* Visit the picturesque Hirekolale Lake or the stunning Ayyanakere Lake, nestled amidst lush green coffee plantations.
* Stop at Yagachi Backwaters, a hub for thrilling water sports like Banana rides, Bumper rides, and Speed boats (self-sponsored activities).
* Don't forget your life jackets as you take a refreshing dip in the cool waters(Note that while these activities are available for most of the year, they may be paused during heavy rains)
* Begin the journey back to Bangalore and reach around dinnertime
* Share your amazing backpacking experience with everyone.

Q: What's next after booking your trip?A: A Whatsapp group will be created on the departure day and Vehicle & Trip Leader details will be shared.
Q: Is accommodation on sharing basis and different for men and women.?
A: Separate accommodations will be provided for men and women on sharing basis.
Q: Is it safe and enjoyable for solo traveler?
A: It is absolutely safe for solo traveler, our trained trip/trek coordinator are experienced and sensible enough to make sure the decorum is maintained throughout the trip making it a comfortable , fun filled and safe travel experience.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refunds :Cancellations made by participants:
Cancellations or postponements can be made up to 48 hours or more before the trip's commencement. An 80% refund will be provided if we are notified at least 48 hours of trip's start time.
Trip replacement or postponement to another date can be done only once per booking.
You can replace yourself with your friend or any other, in case you cannot make it, so that you can transfer the booking, and not lose the money.
Full amount can be used for any other trip of any weekend. The difference amount will be adjusted from you or paid back according to the new trip cost.
No refund if cancellation done within 48 hours of commencement of the trip.
Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, booking shortages):
Full refund or allowed to book different trips of same weekend or future ones.
Refunds are processed within 2 days of cancellation and the amount will be reflected in your bank account within 2 days of cancellation.
