There is a strong relationship between what we feel and what we think. Certain types of thoughts are recognized as ‘Cognitive distortions ’ which is the way we think about something that doesn’t match up to the extent of reality that is going on.
Each thought affects our bodily sensations and feelings, the combination dictates our behaviour. Our behaviour then triggers our next thought, which then creates another cycle of feelings. How do we interrupt this pattern if it doesn’t help?
