Pre monsoon we have very limited options to explore and hike.
Kotagiri is one of the few places we can still visit, and try to avoid the tourist crowd of Ooty.
Trek to Kotagiri This time. Kotagiri offers some of the most picturesque trekking trails in the state. Adorned with beautiful tea estate, lush green
surrounding, rumbling rivers and meadows, and not so tough at all, Kotagiri is just perfect for the 1st timers and the trekkers who don’t mind a relaxed
one and don’t wanna miss the beauty of westernghats at its best season.

Itinerary
Day 0
- Friday night we will start from majestic by 10 pm , in TT/bus and will reach the homestay in kotagiri by Saturday morning.
Day 1
- 08:00 - Check in & allocating tents
- Refreshment for 30 minutes
- 09:00 - Morning tea & breakfast
- 10:00 - Trek down the slip rock to Kalaar view point (5 kms from campsite)
- 13:00 - Lunch(packed food provided)
- 14:00 - Ridget walk to pond chilling the feet & tribe house visit(3 kms)
- 15:00 - Cave hike & herd of bison sighting
- 17:00 - Back to base
- 18:30 - Camp-fire & music
- 20:30 - Dinner
- 22:00 - Knocked off in the alpine tents
Day 2
- 7:30 - Wake up with tea
- 9:00 - Breakfast
- 10:00 - Trek to Cathrine falls or Quin waterfalls to enjoy the waterfall bath, situated around 8 km away from Kotagiri. It falls from a
height of 100 ft into the Kallar River. We can swim here, but not allowed if you dont know how to swim. Or you might wanna carry life jackets to get into water.
- 13:00 - Lunch (packed food provided)
- 15:00 - Back to campsite & refreshment with Nilagiri tea and heads back to Baagalore
We might consider exploring few other spots like Longwood Shola forest , but that depends on pace we trek.

- The team/Organizers are not responsible for any loss of your valuables
- We do not entertain Alcohol/any kind of Drug during the event
- We strictly follow the "Litter free Atmosphere", do co-operate
- Kindly adhere to the instructions of the Leads in order to enjoy the road trip in a safe manner
Pandemic Measures
We will be following below measures to keep our fellow travelers safe during this pandemic -
- Participants should get masks and sanitizers of their own
- People falling under the age group of below 16 and above 50 are not allowed (having their health as our concern)
- Participants with any symptoms of cough/cold/fever are advised to stay back
- We ensure that the place of stay is well sanitized and safe for travelers

- Energy bars, dry fruits, etc.

- Sweater/ jackets for the night
- Toiletries (napkin, tissues, etc.)
- Flashlight/Torch with extra batteries
- Track pants and cotton T-shirt
