to numerous peaks and waterfalls. One amongst them is Shivmogga, also known as Shimoga. Famous for its
numerous waterfalls and mountain peaks, it is one of the most ideal nature getaways close to Bangalore that
one can embark on. The destination rests peacefully on the banks of the Tunga River, making up for its
soothing and salubrious climate.
In the varied beauties of this awesome destination lies the Kodachadri Peak, which boasts of lush green
forests on its summit. The peak also holds the distinction of being a Natural Heritage site as declared by the
government of Karnataka. Nestled amidst the Western Ghats of Karnataka, Kodachadri is located at 1,343
meters above the sea level. Designated as the 10th tallest peak in the state and a precious natural heritage
location, Kodachadri trek boasts of compact forests, beautiful waterfalls en route gorgeous jungle trails, and
picturesque landscapes.
The name of Kodachadri is derived from the words Kodacha and Adri, which in the local language means
home of the hill jasmine flowers. The peak of Kodachadri is a perfect canvas like the backdrop to the famous
Mookambika Temple and also the Mookambika National Park. Being in the heart of this National Park, there
are various opportunities for wildlife and trekking enthusiasts. Kodachadri Trekking offers the adventurists the
opportunity to explore the lush green hillside views and celebrate the wonders of nature.
The peak is also home to a stunning range of Biodiversity such as Malabar Langoor, Malabar Pied Hornbill,
and Indian Rock Python among many others. On the Kodachadri Trekking experience, you can experience the

Itinerary
Day 0
- First Pickup: Indiranagar, Near CMH Park at 8.30 PM
- Second Pickup: Domlur, New Shanthi Sagar Hotel at 8.45 PM
- Third Pickup: MG Road, opposite to 1 MG Lido Mall at 9.00 PM
- Fourth Pickup: Goraguntepalya Metro station at 9.30 PM
- Fifth Pick Up : Nelamangala Bypass around 10.00PM
Day 1
- Reach the campsite around 06:00 AM and freshen up
- Around 08:00 AM, begin your journey to Kumble Village and Hidlumane Waterfalls after breakfast
- Relax for some time near the waterfall
- Proceed trekking to the top of the peak and have lunch on the way up
- Enjoy the serenity at its best from the top and spend some good time there
- Descend to the campsite after sunset
- Retire for the night after dinner
Day 2
- Wake up early and freshen up
- Pack your bags and check-out from the campsite around 09:00 AM
- Start travelling to Nagara Fort & Devagange, Enjoy the glimpses of an elegant fort and after sometime commence your return journey
- Have a self-sponsored lunch en route
- Wind up the tour after you get dropped back

- As this is a monsoon season, rain gears are mandatory for all participants.

- We strictly follow the "Litter free Atmosphere", do co-operate

Pandemic Measures

- Participants should get masks and sanitizers of their own
- People falling under the age group of below 16 and above 50 are not allowed (having their health as our concern)
- Participants with any symptoms of cough/cold/fever are advised to stay back
- We ensure that the place of stay is well sanitized and safe for travelers
