Agumbe Trekking Campings

Agumbe, Shimoga

Agumbe is famous for its ecologically versatile and timeless forest range in the Western Ghats. Thousands of species of flora and fauna are widely spread all over. Agumbe trekking is an ideal weekend holidaying activity for adventure lovers, located 380 kilometers from Bangalore.

This place is popular due to the tale of ‘Malgudi days’ by RK Narayan as filming of the village was done here. Take a break from your busy schedule and visit the ‘Cherrapunji of South’. You should try the monsoon trek to the Agumbe Rainforest in the Shimoga district to capture the heaven of wildlife.

The highest peak that falls under the Agumbe trekking escapade is the famous Narasimha Parvata. It is situated at 3780 feet above sea level. Kudremukh range is visible from the top of this perfect location of trekking. Among the multiple enchanting views, the beautiful sunset will get painted in your memories forever.

The 8 kilometers trek in the glorious rainforest will leave you speechless in the awe of evolution. The view of some of the species like Flying Squirrels, Draco Flying Lizards, Slender Loris, and the King Cobra are enough to give nerve-tingling experience for the adventure junkies. Camping is one of the fun-filled activities of the Agumbe trekking from Bangalore.
